Embark on a Culinary Journey

When Chef Love first stood on the balcony of Gemelle, he was transported back to the cobblestone streets of Ravello, Italy. Overcome with memories of light, vibrant food accompanied by stunning views of azure waters and the sounds of street musicians strumming guitars, he decided to recreate all of it—from the food, to the music, to the spirit.

A Love Letter to Coastal Italy

Inspired by a sun-drenched journey to the Mediterranean with his family, Gemelle is a heartfelt homage to Love’s adoration for Italian cuisine. He chose the name, which means ‘twins,’ for his daughters Ella and Anna — the perfect nod to his favorite things: food and family.

Meet the Team

Jason Brown
General Manager

Jason transitioned into the restaurant business after working as a General Manager in the hotel industry, joining the Gemelle and Hotel Otto team is his first experience managing a full-service restaurant!

He has been at Gemelle since October 2023 and his favorite aspect of working here is engaging in meaningful conversations with hotel and restaurant guests.

As for his favorite dish, Jason says it has to be Gemelle Pesto!

Lily Hendricks
Executive Chef

Lily joined the Gemelle team in August 2023,  bringing her passion for event planning and knack for organization.

At Gemelle, Lily's favorite aspect of event planning is the chance to unleash her creativity and bring people together. Whether it's organizing a corporate event or a private celebration, she thrives on crafting memorable experiences for guests.

When it comes to her favorite dish,  Lily's go-to is our Tuesday special: Crispy Salmon!
